Rachelle Yang Bio

Hi! I'm Rachelle Yang, a senior at Fordham University. I play Division 1 tennis on Fordham's Women's Tennis Team. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in environmental studies and minoring in sustainable business and creative writing.

Growing up, I was never the best writer because I never allowed myself to fully express my thoughts. However, as I matured, I realized that it's okay to be vulnerable and share my personal stories. I've learned that there is no such thing as a bad writer, everyone simply has their own writing styles. As a college student with so many things going on, I decided to take on writing as a hobby because it was my stress outlet. Through this, I realized that writing was something I was really passionate about, so I decided to declare a minor in creative writing.
